The department functions to fill the vacant positions as well as issue promotions of (Nayab) Taluka Development Oficer, C-clerk (administration), Distribution officer, Agricultural Supervisor, Assistant Accountant, Research and Distribution Assistant (Panchayat), Circle Inspector, Talati-cum-Mantri, Junior Clerk, Driver, Peon, as well as Class 3 and Class 4 officers at the village level and taluka level out of the three levels of the panchayat, by interviewing the suitable candidates satisfying the government criteria published in the advertisements.
To do the work related to the retirement of all the employees such as (Nayab Chitnish), (Nayab) Taluka Development Oficer, C-clerk (administration), Distribution officer, Agricultural Supervisor, Assistant Accountant, Research and Distribution Assistant (Panchayat), Cirlce Inspector, Talati-cum-Mantri, Junior Clerk, Driver, Peon, as well as Class 3 and Class 4 officers at the village level and taluka level.
To provide the coaching when a complaint is received regarding any class 3 or class 4 officer, (Nayab Chitnish), (Nayab) Taluka Development Officer, Talati-cum-Mantri, Junior Clerk, Driver, Peon etc and to work on the court cases as well as appeals against these employees.
To follow the guidelines laid down by the government regarding its employees and to ensure that the same is done by other departments also.
To look after the salary, leaves, increment and pension cash of the class 1 and class 2 officers of the District Panchayat and to fill the vacancies of the class 1 and class 2 officers as well as to look into the cases filed against the employees.
To look after the roaster register of class 3 and class 4 employees.
To purchase and distribute the stationary for all the departments of the district panchayat.
To make the appraisal of the class 3 employees.
To provide the financial information related to the HR department.
To carry out all the other responsibilities entrusted by the Hon. District Development Officer.
To send the office bearers and employees of various department for the training.
To provide housing to the class 3 employees.
